“I’m gonna pop some tags…”
August 17 is National Thrift Shop Day. I honestly didn’t know about that until a few weeks ago when Savers emailed me about it.
Savers is a for-profit, global thrift retailer company that offers gently used clothing, accessories, and household goods. They believe that in reusing old clothes, it helps keep over 700 million pounds of of used goods in landfills each year. They operate in 300 locations all over the US, Canada, and Australia.
Through their mission, they have also been helping around 100 non-profit organizations by buying donated goods from them.
In Las Vegas, I believe they have 6 locations. I was able to receive a $50 gift card from Savers just in time for National Thrift Shop Day! And for that $50, we were able to buy the following:
- 1 romper
- 1 dress
- 1 sweater
- 2 toddler dresses
- 1 toddler jacket
- Painting with frame
- Story book
- 2 Baking pans
- Halloween bucket
Whaaaat! What a great deal. I might get addicted to shopping like this from now on. So much savings! And when you look properly, you can actually get good finds. Check your local Savers for great deals, especially during the National Thrift Shop Day.
Much love,
-Mina 💕
I agree, you can really find great deals in thrift stores, you just have to be patient.
