My First Pilates Class Experience

This is the story of my first ever Pilates class. And I died. Just kidding.

I was recently invited to an event hosted by TruFusion located at Blue Diamond, Las Vegas. They offered free classes that night which was a choice between Yoga or Pilates. And since I have never really tried Pilates before, I went with the latter.

The event was from 6:30 to 9pm. Me and my girlfriend went at around 7pm. The whole place was full of energy with all the sponsors all over the place. There are so many great vendors and shops out there. They even offered a free massage with cupping from IMR massage, who will be opening at the same location. They also have a lot of free food from Cinnaholic, Spin Spun, Source Bar, Foodie Fit, and some drinks from Core Water, The Juice Standard, Carpe Diem Juice Co, The Brew Theory, Peroni, Magnum Coffee.

Aside from the food and drinks, there are also free products or trials from different brands such as Las Vegas Laser and Aesthetics, Freedom, Spiritual Gangster, Pinrose, Wellthy, and Zeeta Body.

We were able to grab so many goodies and everyone was so sweet and friendly. They even have a specific room where everyone can take photos along with their goodie bags by Alo Yoga. DJ JackEL provided the music around the lobby before the classes started. He was great. He brought the mood up for everybody and he definitely got us all hyped up.

This was a before photo, clearly. Still sweat-free and our hair is in place. Then the class started and the room started heating up along with it. Everything happened so fast, I was sweating so much. Within 40minutes of the class, I knew I was done. Lol. This is what happens when I haven’t been doing any exercise for months. I’ve been so stagnant lately.

They do say that the first class is usually the hardest. And it was. I couldn’t catch up most of the time. But the instructor, Emily, was so motivating. And seeing everyone struggle like I did, made me feel more comfortable.

I love the energy of the class and how upbeat everything is. It got a little too hot though. I felt like I was about to faint. But I didn’t. I just had to lie down for a bit. Them I got a second wind and tried catching up at the end. My muscles were burning but in a good way. It was such a fun class and I am so glad I was able to attend it.

Here are some photos from the event.

Overall, I had so much fun. The best part is that they’re offering a free one month membership for those who attended the event. I’ll definitely do more of their classes. It was a very nice environment to be in.

Much love,
