I have always loved events where you are doing something for the benefit of others. And that’s exactly what happened during Crazy Pita‘s Fall Dining Event.
Crazy Pita Rotisserie and Grill is a fast casual Mediterranean restaurant group that features unique and delicious fresh grilled to order Mediterranean cuisines. They started franchising early 2018. They have several locations here in Las Vegas namely The District at Green Valley Ranch, Town Square Las Vegas, and Downtown Summerlin. We went to the one located in Downtown Summerlin.
I love their ambience. It’s so inviting and cozy. The place itself is not too big but it makes up for amazing service and great food. Medhi Zarhloul, the owner, is always very welcoming and he provided so much food for us to taste. Here are some photos of their delicious delicacies.
My favorite is the dessert. The chocolate Baklava is amazing.
So what exactly are we doing in Crazy Pita aside from eating free? Well they are participating in a paper sales campaign To benefit Project 150. And what is Project 150?
Project 150 is a non-profit charitable organization that started in December 2011 by friends Don Purdue and Pat Spargur when they heard about 150 homeless high school students at Rancho High School in Las Vegas that needed support over Christmas Break. Since then, they have helped over 3,400 registered homeless and 3,100 non-registered homeless, displaced, and disadvantaged students in 59 high schools in Southern Nevada and 20 in Reno.
So for the whole of November until December 21, you can start purchasing paper icons for a minimum donation of $1 at any Crazy Pita location. And aside from that, you can always reach out the Project 150 if you would like to donate clothing and school supplies. This is such an amazing opportunity to help out those in need. Especially during the holidays.
I had the greatest time hanging out with a bunch of amazing people and eating delicious Mediterranean cuisine.
