Kura Revolving Sushi Mukbang

Me and the family went to the grand opening of Kura Revolving Sushi in Las Vegas and it was so bomb!

Last July 5th, we got invited to taste the newest location of Kura Sushi in Las Vegas. We were greeted by their customer service manager, Davo Eda. They were so nice and accommodating. I never really thought much about how much thought planning goes into revolving sushi places. I mean, I have always thought it was making the sushi in the kitchen, placing them into plates that goes into the trays and the customer eats it. Boy was I wrong.

Apparently, a lot of calculations are made, like the amount of sushi they make. My husband commented how the kitchen was not keeping up fast enough since there weren’t a lot of food on the conveyor belt when we got there. Mr. Eda explained to us that the moment you come into the restaurant and they ask you how many people are in your party, that number immediately goes to the kitchen staff. For example, we have 4 people in ours, they approximate how many dishes they are going to make within 2 hours so they would not make too much or too little.

Why 2 hours though? Because their dishes will only be on the conveyor belt within that time or less. If it lasts longer than that then they throw it out. So you’re always sure that the food they make will definitely be fresh. How do they do it? With their Mr. Fresh trays which are the ones on the belt holding the plates. On top of the cover is a black square which has the number on how long the food has been there. Every time it goes around the kitchen, someone is in charge of checking the time, making sure it’s not over 2 hours. How awesome is that! And it’s true. All the dishes we’ve tried are super fresh and so deliciously good!

Okay so enough explaining and let me just show you a video of how our experience went down. Here ya go!
